Known for her dedication to her own physical fitness,
First Lady Michelle Obama put some of that storied athleticism to work Wednesday to show about 100 parents and kids from local elementary schools that staying fit can be fun.
In addition to showing off her hula hooping skills on the White House lawn, the Southside Chicago native also jumped double dutch and made some healthy meals for the occasion.
Dubbed the Healthy Kids Fair, the event emphasized the importance of outdoor exercise.
