From Frugivore: In a move that - if one pays attention to The Obama Administration's economic polices - shouldn't surprise anyone. First Lady Michelle Obama announced yesterday that she will be supporting an initiative that will allow the largest retailer in the world - along with other national chains - to bring their services to "food deserts."
This declaration comes on the heels of a groundbreaking study, which suggested supermarkets do not help low income families battle obesity and other food-related illnesses effectively. By bringing in retail heavyweights like Wal-Mart and SuperVal-U, they are essentially creating larger fast-food depots.

What a fool you are. Black folks are beautiful naturally. You must be one of those pale faced, anorexic, buttless, lipless whyte women....Don't hate, you all try too hard to emulate us. She is more beautiful than any other first lady, and oh...she didn't kill anyone....ha ha ha....Whyte folks keep hating....

@ Angie
Some black people are beautiful, okay I agree, but most aren't! Especially the majority of black women of which 80.3% are overweight, or obese! That's four out of five! There's nothing at all beautyiful about FAT! The same applies to being "CURVY" because that's nothing but the BW's attempt to mask them being...yeah you got it...FAT! And, if black women are so beautiful, then why are the majority trying to look like white girls, but can't?

I AGREE WITH "ANTBEE"! Let's just see who in Washington will care if we don't get up off our tails come campaign 2012 and re-election husband, she comes with him! Don't start crying then - at least she is trying to help the problem now - the only "FIRST LADY" I've ever seen that didn't look like a "China Doll" in gloves, just nodding her head - and as for her looks - IT APPEARS THAT "SOMEONE" WISHES THEY COULD LOOK AS "GOOD" AS THE "FIRST LADY"!

I must say, that I fully support Michelle Obama in her efforts to have a REAL concern for the children of America. Who else, so far has shown that they are willing to commit to such a serious issue, "The Children", which is the future. Go Michelle! You are on it, Sista - And you're so fine.....

It really doesn't matter what "President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama" does, there will always be negative comments attached it to it.
Just get over it and accept that he is the President just like all the others before him. Give respect based on the position and stop the silliness based on his race. AGAIN, GET OVER IT ALREADY!

Excuse me, the article incorrectly spelled the word, dessert. The word in the topic is desert, which means hot or arid. Dessert is what they mean. WOW!!
