From Frugivore: In a move that - if one pays attention to The Obama Administration's economic polices - shouldn't surprise anyone. First Lady Michelle Obama announced yesterday that she will be supporting an initiative that will allow the largest retailer in the world - along with other national chains - to bring their services to "food deserts."
This declaration comes on the heels of a groundbreaking study, which suggested supermarkets do not help low income families battle obesity and other food-related illnesses effectively. By bringing in retail heavyweights like Wal-Mart and SuperVal-U, they are essentially creating larger fast-food depots.

BV got to do better than this or go out of business. No one sells blacks short but blacks themselves. No one is putting a gun to black’s heads to set foot in Wal-Mart to buy anything. Blacks are just angry especially the men because they really thought it was going to be black democrat business as usual and that Obama was one of those blacks that were going to favor them like back in the day when playing the race card worked. Jobs, no show jobs and money. Well surprise-surprise. Those days are over and gone. Those old black pocket lining black democrats who used the civil rights movement more for their own benefit are on their way out in every way possible and the likes of them will never be elected again. I can’t wait until Obama is no longer president and see how blacks attack and make demands on the tea party president. They will spit in their face, tell them to get lost and go F themselves.

this is to Donna - you have the nerve to call our first lady's face buttulgy....you must be a WW..don't you know that first black in itself is beautiful....and she is a beautiful black queen. Haven't you see your people trying all they can to change their pink unattactive skin into something with color and tone. Who wants to see the veins and liver spots all over their bodies as seen on pink skin? this is not only ulgy but nasty, don't get it twisted!!

AntBee? Don’t trouble yourself with such psychotically racist nonsense from those people. Even to arguing with them is pointless, for they’ll likely not hear you as they used the time you speak to think of what internalized nastiness to say next.
And this assertion about black girls trying to look (or be) like white girls has always been inherently flawed from the very beginning and/or was always “artificial” due to the socially mean-spirited conditions that lead to such a desire in and of itself.
The only kind of black girl (or blacks in general) that sought to be white was for no other reason than for acceptances within a fundamentally racist white social construct. –Ironically to appease their white oppressors so as to avert being further oppressed by them and practically nothing more. Beyond this, those particular blacks were/are fully at ease about themselves while having little to no interests of wanting to be like anyone else and have otherwise sought only to be the greater good of themselves.
Blacks “wanting to BE or LOOK white” were/are actually “DRIVEN” into that direction by externally and socially destructive forces imposed upon them without their consent.
Bad experiences (racism) “Received” from their white oppressors were often enough to “MAKE” those particular blacks “Want” be white solely to “escape” the kind of unjust social discourse they are “Confronted” with in regards to fundamentally racist pestilences for being black within such a psychotically racist social construct.
But nothing more.
Scientifically, there’s absolutely NOTHING better about being white, over being black in any genetic way shape and/or form. It’s all purely psychological and coerced only by a social construct filled with a bunch of white racist imbeciles in charge.

First of all,if you do not want to eat right. Don't eat right. If you want to feed your children bad food and fast food everyday. fine, its up to you. Michelle has always said that she like to eat french fries every now and then and other stuff that has fat in it. This is a black forum but their are more white folks on here than black. They always want to know what we are thinking. So if stores are making food affordable for people. Its up to you to purchase the right food for you and your family. People had a problem that the white rich stores were the only place to get healthy food. So now its in stores where you can afford to get it. Stop trying to find fault in everything the Obama's do. Most Presidents and former first lady's never try to help anyone other than themselves and the rich. Wake up people and remember white folks are reading and recording what we say.
